To be an entrepreneur is a challenging path to walk, as many have said, it is not a sprint but a marathon. In module one, we help you move from chaos to clarity.  We guide you to discover those things that are most important to you – your passions, how to stay focused and getting to grips with what needs to be put in place as you start your business journey.

Module 2

MARKETING AND BRANDING

IDENTIFY YOUR IDEAL CUSTOMER | YOUR MARKETING STRATEGY | UNDERSTAND BRANDING

In this module we talk about the importance of connecting with your customer, learning to develop your uniqueness and creating a brand which builds trust and loyalty. We look at ways to keep your customers up to date, interested and your brand top of mind.

Module 3

SALES

YOUR SALES STRATEGY | TARGET CONSUMERS | LEARN NEGOTIATION SKILLS 

In the third module, we discuss how to turn your marketing efforts into sales. We talk about the importance of having a sales strategy, how to find customers, closing deals as well as tips and tricks on negotiating effectively.

Module 4

FINANCE

UNDERSTAND TAX | INVEST WISELY | SAVE SMARTLY

If you are building your own business, you want to make money. In this module we share some tips on tax, accounting, investing wisely and digitisation. We will help you engage with some practical tools on the Xero app and ensure that you are well equipped to save smartly. 

Module 5

LEADERSHIP

MANAGEMENT VS. LEADERSHIP |TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE HIRING | BUILDING A CULTURE

In this module we focus on taking the lead, empowering yourself and building a team. We share effective ways to lead and build a culture that encourages collaboration, trust and loyalty.

Module 6

PITCHING YOUR BUSINESS

CREATING YOUR PITCH DECK | INVESTOR LENS | PITCHING TO INVESTORS 

At some time in your business journey you will need to pitch to an investor, a bank or for attracting new talent. Developing and preparing for your pitch so that it captures and holds your listener’s attention is key. You need to know what you want, how much you want and why you want it.

This programme builds on the tools and skills learned in the workshop, and offers mentorship within a community of experts and like-minded individuals.
